The Utah State Parks Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) program wants you to ride safely and protect your riding privilege.  Growth of our sport requires riders to practice and advocate safe and ethical use of our trails and play areas.  This responsibility includes properly registering machines and learning and obeying OHV safety laws and rules. 

Remember, kids must take our Youth Snowmobile Safety Course before they can operate any OHV in Utah.

Utah law requires that youth take our one-time safety course before operating an off-highway vehicle (OHV), snowmobile, or personal watercraft (PWC). 
The OHV Education Program covers ATVs, off-highway motorcycles and side-by-side ATVs (called Type II ATVs which include UTVs and dune buggy type machines).
The Snowmobile Education Program covers snowmobiles.
The PWC Education Program covers Jet Ski® and Sea-Doo® type vessels.
